This is a translation of your driving license in two formats:

A translation card, and a translation booklet, which translates your license into 11 languages (15 optional languages, depending on your language criteria during the application)

Our translation card allows you to access a digital copy of your international driving permit on your smartphone.

This document will help you, in conjunction with your valid driver's license, to rent, register or purchase a vehicle in most countries.

Our international permit is ideal for travelers going abroad.

It is valid for one to three years, depending on the chosen formula and the validity of your national license, if applicable.

This document must be used in conjunction with your valid national license, but it does not replace it.

No, our international permit is a non-governmental document. It therefore does not replace your driver's license or your photo identification card issued by your state of residence.

This document serves simply as a translation and digital storage of your valid national driver's license.

This is not the AAA OR AATA PCI, which are booklets issued by government agencies or private organizations designated by a country's government.

These constitute the sole official translation of the driver's license for people from these countries.

Our international driving permit is not accepted in:
Afghanistan, Angola, Bhutan, China, North Korea, Ethiopia, Kiribati, Mozambique, Pakistan, Somalia, South Sudan, Vietnam.

This is why we recommend checking the requirements of each destination, as they vary from country to country and from state to state.

For example, for some countries, only permits with 1 year of validity are accepted (1949 Geneva Convention).

When you apply, we will help you validate the choice of your permit according to your destination country/countries.

Although our license is accepted in most countries, as requirements vary from region to region, it is advisable to inquire directly with car rental companies, local insurance companies, and local registration services.

The express service (1 to 7 days) costs 45.00 $

In case of loss or theft, you can log in to your account for a reprint of your international permit, if and only if the validity date of your initial permit is still in good standing.

No, the international driving permit does not replace or modify your national driving license.

It is simply an addition and a translation of your national driving license in order to be able to drive abroad.

Furthermore, it is strongly advised to always have your national driving license when driving outside your country, in addition to our international permit.
